Going to be making the most out of my last 2 weeks in paradise,
on the beach, in Burberry ...technically this is preparing for London.

I cannot believe i leave so soon!
Finally got some photos up of my amazing Frye 12R Engineer boots! They were a "good luck in London" gift from my sister in LA. She raved about Frye boots last time i visited, and now i can see why. The quality is unlike any other boot brand I've seen; Solid construction, thick waterproof leather, and durable Soles. So far I've matched these over a pair of skinny dark wash denim, and under a pair of bootcut denim- both looks work extremely well. Almost set for those rainy days in London, now all i need are some vintage combat boots..

This fall is all about texture and layering. I loved the interesting choice of layering that Dolce & Gabbana did with their henleys:
In order from Darkest to lightest:
Rock & Republic Boot cut- black wash,
Rock & Republic Boot cut- Dark Indigo wash,
Levi's super skinny- dark wash,
Seven For all Mankind Boot cut Special edition- medium wash,
A&F Baxter Boot cut- Dark wash,
A&F Baxter Boot cut- Destroyed medium wash,
RVCA grey skinny- Medium grey,
Bullhead Skinny dirty wash- light grey,
Bullhead skinny extreme acid wash- light blue,
Zara skinny- white
I have been slightly obsessed with the lighter washes recently, especially the acid washed look. One of my favorite washes so far, involves acid wash denim and a dip dye process that leaves an Ombre gradient to the pant leg:
This would look amazing with the Frye Engineer boots i just got. what do you think?
Also on my DIY list is this special denim wash featured in the Fall 2010 & even in the Spring 2011 Balmain collection.. Silver wash! DEFINITELY going to try my hand at replicating this look:
I cannot believe i embark to London in less than 25 Days, Time has flown by so fast.. I am making it a point to post daily from now on; Documenting packing, and certain trends and pieces i love. Anyways this post, i decided to document my outerwear choices: Canvas military jackets (A&F, AE, Hco), Blazers (H&M, Zara, H&M), Motorcycle Jackets (Zara), Trench (London Fog), Down Hoodie (A&F). These should be able to last me until i find more unique pieces in London. Desperately looking for a Crop Motorcycle jacket, wool overcoat, Short Trench, and tweed blazer.
